I've been using ViewComponents for a long time now. Can I make one suggestion? Add an attr_reader :post to the .rb file, and stick with local variables in your .html.erb file. 

That's pretty neat, but I think I'll stick to my Mac with RubyMine. I'm just getting too old and set in my ways I guess.
